2026 Missionary Queen

Sis. Belinda Barnes is running for the title of 2026 Missionary Queen. The Queen’s Pageant is sponsored by the Banister Association Women’s Ministry. She is collecting donations. Any support is appreciated! Contact Sis. Linda Owen for more information.

2026 Black History Extravaganza

The theme for this year is Our Enduring History, based on Joshua 4:6-7. During the month we will be honored with words and wisdom from our seniors that are 90 years old and older. Speakers will be:

• 1st Sunday, February 1st: Sis. Sallie Coleman

• 2nd: Sunday, February 8th: TBA

• 3rd Sunday, February 15th: Bro. James Sturdivant

• 4th Sunday, February 22nd: Bro. Junior Coleman

During the month we will also wear garments of praise and enjoy a Soul Food Luncheon. The garments of praise for each Sunday are listed below:

• 1st Sunday, February 1st: Afrocentric Attire

• 2nd: Sunday, February 8th: Animal Prints, Earth Tones, or Favorite Team Colors

• 3rd Sunday, February 15th: Polka Dots

• 4th Sunday, February 22nd: Afrocentric Attire

The Soul Food Luncheon will be held after worship service on February 22, 2026.
